Meeting for patients 9th April 2019
Posted on 5 Sep 2019
Meeting for Patients
Following a number of meetings with Patient Participation Group (PPG) members and patients from West Bar Surgery, Woodlands Surgery and Banbury Health Centre, on the plans to bring together the three practices under Principal Medical Limited (PML), we are pleased to be making progress with the integration.
As promised when we last met with patients, we asked your opinion on a new name for the practice. The results are now in and the name selected is ‘Banbury Cross Health Centre’.
We also committed to bringing together the PPGs (and other interested patients) from all three practices to discuss how you want to continue your contribution to the running of the new practice. We now have a date for this meeting.
WE WILL BE HOLDING A MEETING FOR PATIENTS OF BANBURY HEALTH CENTRE, WEST BAR SURGERY AND WOODLANDS SURGERY ON TUESDAY 9TH APRIL AT 7:00PM.
THE MEETING WILL BE HELD AT SOUTH BAR HOUSE IN THE EDUCATION SUITE – please let reception know if you plan to attend.
Summary of how the new practice will operate
The practices will be run as a single practice by PML and will have a different name (see above).
The staff you see on a day-to-day basis will remain the same.
There will not be an immediate change to services – change will happen gradually.
The services will still operate from Bridge Street, Burchester Place and from South Bar House.
Eventually, there will be a single telephone number for all patients to contact the practice.
We will have a new website and expand the range of services available via the website for patients who prefer to access services in this way.
You may be offered an appointment at any of the current practice buildings.
The same range of services will be available and we will be able to offer new services.
